Bond will visit the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and the Republic of the Congo from August 2-7, 2015, for a series of meetings with foreign government authorities. During her visit to the DRC, she will meet with Congolese government officials to discuss the status of exit permits for children adopted by U.S. citizens. In the Republic of the Congo, she will meet with Ministry of Foreign Affairs Secretary General Cyprien Mamina to discuss U.S.-Congolese bilateral consular issues.
