Ndgu zangu wafanyakazi wenzangu, nadhani wote ni mashaidi wa jinsi mnavyoshuhudia hawa wazee wa jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki wanavyoteseka katika kufuatilia malipo yao (mafao yao). Ndivyo hivyo hivyo itakavyokuwa na sisi tutakapofikia muda wa kufuatilia mafao yetu. Am sure usumbufu unaoupata leo hii utakuwa mara dufu.
Hili saga nzima limejaa mazingara ya mchezo mchafu na faulu wanataka kutuchezea. Migodini hata expats huwa wanachangia mifuko hii kwa mujibu wa sheria na huwa mikataba yao inapokwisha claim form zinajazwa mara moja kwa ajili ya kulipa mafao yao; je na hao kwa sheria hii itabidi wasubiri hiyo miaka 55 mpk 60??; nadhani hawa jamaa tatizo lao ni kuchambua mambo na kufanyia maamuzi ofisini tena Dar au nje ya nchi bila kufanya upembuzi yakinikifu. Zungukeni hasa kwenye sekta ya madini mjionee wenyewe.

Hivi kweli hawa jamaa wa mifuko ya jamii walifanya public hearing kabla ya kutunga hii sheria? Tanga zamani nimekuwa nikijiuliza kuhusu uhalali wa sisi wanachama kuchangia fedha zetu lakini wazitumie kwenye uwekezaji bila kutuhusisha sisi wachangiaji!!! Uhalali wanautoa wapi? Kwanza hutajawahi kuulizwa kama tujiunge au tusijiunge na mifuko hii. Je wachangiaji tunapataje faida kutokana na faida kutoka katika uwekezaji? Hayo ndio mambo tunayohitaji kujua sio kuchukua hela zetu na kutulazimisha tuzisubiri hadi miaka 55. Siamini kama uanzishwaji wa sheria hii ulitokana na hitaji la jamii bali ni hitaji la watu wachache ili wale fedha!!! Jamani ni nani atawatetea wanyonge wa nchi hii????

Inflation haiko kwenye vigezo vyote vya mafao, kwa hiyo pesa zikikaa huko kwa miaka 15 hadi 20 pesa unazopata ni kama 1/3 ya pesa ulizochangia.6. Hiyo commission ya udhibiti itaendeshwa kwa pesa hizo hizo za wanachama. Kwa kuzuia fao la kujitoa mwanachama anapata fursa ya kupata mikopo ya nyumba kwa kutumia dhamana ya michango yake kama ilivyoelezwa kwenye Sheria ya SSRA kipengele cha 38. 4. Marekebisho hayo kuhusu kuzuia mafao ya kujitoa yamefanyika ili kutimiza lengo na madhumuni ya hifadhi ya jamii ambayo ni kuhakikisha kuwa mwanachama anapostaafu anapata mafao bora yatakayomwezesha kumudu maisha ya uzeeni wakati ambapo nguvu ya kufanya kazi tayari imeshamwishia. Mafao ya kujitoa yanapunguza na hata kuondoa kabisa kinga ya mfanyakazi pale anapoumia kazini au anapofika uzeeni. 5. Tunawaomba muwaelimishe wafanyakazi umuhimu na madhumuni ya mafao ya hifadhi ya jamii. Hifadhi ya jamii ni nyenzo mahususi iliyowekwa kuwasaidia 1 wafanyakazi kuendesha maisha yao wakati wanapokuwa wameishastaafu tayari. Umasikini wa kipato wakati wa uzee ni mojawapo ya changamoto ngumu kukabiliana nazo kwa mtu mmoja mmoja na taifa kwa ujumla. Tunawasihi tena muelimishe wafanyakazi kuhusu jambo hili. Tafadhali msisite kuwasiliana na Mamlaka pale ufafanuzi zaidi utakapohitajika 6. Kwa kuwa marekebisho hayo yamesainiwa na kuanza kutumika rasmi kama sheria, mafao ya kujitoa hayawezi kutolewa tena na wafanyakazi watakaoacha kazi kwa sababu ya marekebisho ya kipengele hicho watakuwa hawajaijitendea haki wao wenyewe na pia itakuwa ni kunyume cha Sheria. Mamlaka inaandaa kanuni za mafao ambayo lengo lake ni kuboresha maslahi ya wanachama, kanuni hizo zitajadiliwa na wadau wakiwemo vyama vya wafanyakazi na waajiri ili kupata maoni yao. 7. Tafadhali muwaelimishe wafanyakazi kwamba pamoja na kuzuia fao la kujitoa, mafao mengine ambayo ni muhimu kwa sekta ya Madini yataendelea kutolewa kama kawaida. Mafao hayo ni Kama vile kuumia kazini pamoja na fao la ulemavu 8. Tumesikia kwamba tayari kuna hofu imejijenga kwa wanachama kuhusiana na fao la kujitoa.
