Press Releases: Secretary Kerry Travels to New York 07/23/2015 04:51 PM EDT Secretary Kerry Travels to New York Press Statement John Kirby Department Spokesperson Washington, DC July 23, 2015 Secretary Kerry will travel to New York City on July 24 to participate in a discussion about the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Iran’s nuclear program with Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) President Richard Haass and CFR board members. The discussion will be open to media. While in New York, the Secretary will also meet with leaders from the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations and the American Jewish Committee to discuss the JCPOA, the U.S.-Israel relationship, and regional issues.
