Speaking in New York in a high-level side event organized by the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, the leaders concurred that lack of decent employment opportunities for African youth was a recipe for disaster and that African governments needed to act quickly avert a crisis in the continent.
