Comparing Akhilesh Yadav unfavourably with his brother Shivpal, SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said making Akhilesh CM despite Shivpal's opposition had cost MSY PM-ship. "Only five members from the family won. If I had listened to Shivpal, we would have won 30-35 seats and I would have been the PM,” Mulayam said.

Mumbai: 2 fishermen missing, 14 rescued
Two fishermen reportedly are missing after the fishing boat they sailed with 14 others sank approximately 30 nautical miles (56 kms) West off Mumbai on Saturday. Meanwhile, an Indian Merchant Ship—MV Dependable—passing from the spot at around 7am rescued 14 and made alert to the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) which took the rescued onboard for further aid. The fishing boat—Dutta Sai—sunk at around 4am and the fishermen managed to remain floated in rough sea and bad weather for almost three hours before the ships came for their aid, the ICG spokesperson told TOI.

The city police have identified and arrested the mystery woman allegedly controlling and instigating the mob that torched 42 vehicles belonging to Tamil Nadu-based private travel firm, KPN, at D'souza Nagar on Monday. She was arrested at her home on Thursday night.
Porsche owned by Omaxe Group runs over, kills two sadhus in Mathura
The driver of a luxury Porsche SUV, reportedly owned by the Delhi-based real estate company Omaxe, ran over and killed two sleeping sadhus while reversing the vehicle near Kokilavan Shani temple in Mathura early on Saturday morning.

India's Iran oil imports in Aug highest in 15 years
