Shida ni kwamba wengi wetu 'lack critical thinking' na ndiyo maana mtu mwenye authority akisema kitu tu tunamuunga mkono hata bila kujiridhisha kama yuko sahihi. Waliojiunga UDOM hawaakujiunga kwa vile walikuwa vihiyo, bali mfumo wa utawala uliopita uliwabeba. Kama mnakumbuka hata ilifika mahali tukaaminishwa na natibu waziri wa elimu wa wakati huo kwamba 'hakuna anayefeli' bali wanafunzi wanafaulu kwa viwango tofauti - wengine kiwango cha juu, wengine cha kati na wengine cha chini. Lao haya yote yamesahaulika na hakuna anayeona kasoro kwa wale walioleta huo mfumo, bali kwa watoto waliokidhi vigezo vyao vilivyokuwa vimewekwa wakati huo. Inasikitisha kuona tunavyosahau haraka!

Wangewafukuza wale ambao walikuwa hawafai kusomea hiyo course na ambao walilazimisha kuingia hapo na kuchukua mkopo na wakawaacha wanaostahili. Sasa sijui wanayojadili kwa ustaarabu sasa hivi  ni yepi, wakati hili ni muhimu kwa mustakabali ya taifa letu.

Kwa hiyo, tunapojadili hoja fulani tuijadili kwa kuona pros na cons huku tukiwa 'neutral' na siyo kujadili kitu tukiegemea upande mmoja. Kinachotokea bungeni kinatuathiri wote na si kama wengine wanavyodhani kuwa kinawaathiri wapinzani maana maazimio yanayotolewa bila ya kuya'critique' hayatatusaidia. Unakumbuka jinsi sheria ya manunuzi ya umma ilivyopitishwa? Wapinzani walijaribu kuonyesha upungufu wake wakashauri iboreshwe, lakini kwa kutumia wingi wa kura, hoja zao zikazimwa. Leo hii wale walioipitisha wanasema ina upungufu na hata Rais Magufuli kuna wakati alisema "ina upungufu mkubwa sana". Je, huo upungufu unatokana na nini? Kwa upande wangu, naona kuna matatizo katika uendeshaje wa bunge na kama hizo kasoro hazitarekebishwa hoja zitakazokuwa zinapitishwa hazitakuwa na maslahi mapana ya taifa - yatakuwa yanaangalia tu survival ya vyama vya siasa.

Mugobe. Ninaamini sasa kuwa umesoma neno kwa neno michango mingi ukiwamo wa kwangu. na naamini umeuelewa na ni haki kujibiwa. Ni kweli kuna kanuni nyingine ziliwekwa kukandamiza mambo fulani. Hivi ndivyo ilivyo ulimwenguni kote. Kuna mambo huwezi kuyajadili hivyo lazima utumie taratibu kandamizi. Mfano hai/mfu: Kama mgomo wa wanafunzi UDOM na UDISM uliandaliwa na wanaojionyesha kuwatetea wanafunzi. Serikali ikawatimua. Wachochezi wakaamua kusitisha shughuli za Bunge kujadili 'tatizo la wanafunzi'. Kwa nini serikali isitumie mifumo kandamizi iliyowekwa kwa makusudi mazuri kama hapo (Huu ni mfano tu kwa mawazo yangu).
Nchi na serikali haviwezi kwendeshwa kama kilabu cha mpira. Fikiria katika familia. Mtoto mmoja anaamua kuwa mlevi na kuharibu mali za familia. Halafu mtu anakuja na kusema 'Child rights'. Ni busara tukaiangalia serikali kama taasisi ya kuendesha familia yetu Tanzania. Tukajichunguza na kuchunguzana na kusomana. Tunaweza tukaelewa sababu zinazotamkwa na zisizotamkwa na serikali kwa hatua zingine inazochukua.
Hapa kilichofanyika naibu speaker aliamua kutumia kanuni kuzima mjadala wa kichichezi na kuwaambia haki zao wanaoleta hoja. Bila shaka mpaka wakati unafika kujadili mada kutakuwa hakuna haja tena. (nahisi). hiyo ndiyo 'critical thinking au independent judgement' yangu. Si lazima ifanane na yako lakini kushindwa kuihoji mtu akasema hajui watu wengine wanafikiria kwa kutumia nini inaonyesha upeo wa thinking yake.

Nilikuwa Marekani wakati wa sakata la matokeo ya uchaguzi kati ya Bush na Al Goal. Wamarekani kwa 90% waliamini Goal kashinda. Lakini bado alitangazwa na mfumo kandamizi kupitia ''mahakama huru'' kwa sababu moja kubwa. Mfumo ulikuwa umepangwa Sadam husein apigwe na Goal hakuwa tayari.
Tuwe na Critical thinking kwa mambo yanavyoenda nje na ndani.
Tunahimizwa kujenga demokrasia na kulinda haki za binadamu. lakini hizo ni 'instrument muhimu'' kw wahuni wa kimataifa kudistabilise serikali nyingi. Nakumbuka mgogoro wa Libya ulipoanza gadaffi alitoa hotuba iliyotoka mtandaoni. Nilitoa comment kwa Gadafi kuwa lazima utakwenda. Nilikuwa naona trend na ilitokea.
Ninafikiri kwa baadgi ya thinkers humu mimi ni mpuuzi kwa majibu haya. Sina uhakika kwa ''critical thinkers''.

 mwingine mbunge y akiomba mwongozo kwa nia ya kutaka
 ufafanuzi au kukosoa mwenendo wa michango inavyoenda anyimwa
 hiyo fursa (bila ya sababu ya maana). Katika mazingira kama
 haya kama baadhi ya wabunge wakiona hawatendewi haki na kama
 namna wanayoweza kusema na kusikilizwa haipo wakichukua
 hatua kama hao unaosema kwa mtazamo wako "sababu za
 kipuuzi", je utawalaumu? Kwa maoni yangu, kutoka nje
 kwa hao wabunge si sababu za kipuuzi na kama ni kweli ni za
 kipuuzi basi hata uamuzi uliofanywa na ukasababisha
 uliowafanya watoke wawe na sababu za kipuuzi za kutoka nje
 ulikuwa wa kipuuzi pia.

 Watu makini wakishaingia wingi unakuwa wa mwisho kuamua.
 Kila anayeangalia TBC 2 vipindi vichache vya bunge live
 anaona kuwa mijadara sasa inajadiliwa kwa ustaarabu. Kumbuka
 sababu za kipuuzi kama hizi zilizowatoa wabunge haziwezi
 kutoa nafasi nyimgine ya kupikiwa chai Ikulu. Lazima Wabunge
 wa upinzani watafute namna ya kurudi bungeni. Hatutawacheka.
 Waende wakaendeleze harakati zao kwa busara zaidi.

 Kwa aliyemsilikiza magufuli UDSM atahisi mgogoro huu wa UDOM
 ulichochewa na wanaojifanya wasamalia wema kwa wanachuo.
 nchi hii inahitaji katiba inayompa mabavu Rais.
