SALES EXECUTIVE:

 

We need someone who has a strong, sound knowledge of selling media space, outdoor, tv or radio, or have an understanding of media buying. He/She needs to have a stable track record with a sales background in the media sector is an advantage. He/She should be dynamic and willing to adjust to the ever changing advertising environment with stiff competition. (Dont mind expats who are already living in Dar at the moment). Female preferable even male ok but very very presentable and a little mature (27years+)

 

 

Objectives:

·      Responsible for generating and maintaining sales of company’s products and services to both existing and potential clients to achieve maximum profitability and growth for the company

·      Establishes plans and strategies aligned to the company objectives and development and performance of all sales activities 

.      Manage and motivate & be part of the Sales team to achieve targets

Job Responsibilities

·      Evaluate, present and negotiate sales opportunities

·      Develop a sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals, profitability and growth.

·      Sets annual and quarterly sales targets and evaluate sales performance regularly against sales strategy to ensure sales target is met

·      Provides accurate competitive pricing of all products and services while striving to maintain maximum profit margin

·      Services all clients within the portfolio and maintains accurate records of all sales, contracts, billing, payments and activity report.

·      Creates and conducts proposal presentations and Request For Proposal (RFP) responses.

·      Provides input and reporting on relevant market information including client developments, competition, site developments, that may have an impact on the business and assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed

 

Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Bachelor's Degree and three to five years of sales or marketing experience.

 

Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.

Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

 

 

Work requires significant 4-5 daily visits to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid drivers license.

Position Title: Operations Support Technician

Location: Tanzania

Reporting to: Business Systems Operation Manager

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

•           Provide support to in-house users on key operations business systems such Call center, internet access, M-KOPANet, Task manager and Office 365, MS Dynamics ERP.

•           Provide first level support to network users in issues such as internet, printing and other basic computer support issues,

•           Setup computers for in-house users and make sure all standard applications are installed

•           Tracking and updating user tickets in Zendesk and ensuring they are handled within SLA

•           Escalation of technical issue as need arises and following up to ensure timely resolution,

•           Ensure that users computers are patched, updated and are free from virus.

•           Willingness to work night shifts that may also cover weekends and holidays as per duty roster.

 

INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

Education: University degree in respective area

Experience: 3 years of experience in similar role

Required

Solid understanding of networking, both on the software and hardware end

•           Ability to fix basic issues on computer hardware

•           Solid Operating System troubleshooting skills (both Linux and Windows)

•           Basic knowledge of MS SQL/ MySQL and SQL query languages a plus

•           1 – 2 years’ experience providing user support

•           Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

 

 

Beneficial

•           CCNA certification will be considered a plus

•           MCSE certification will be considered a plus
