[wanabidii] Nursery School Teacher beats parent over 50/-

Have we really become this desperate that one adult, a professional, can beat up another adult over 50 shillings? What can 50 shillings buy nowadays? A half kilo of matumbo? Basi tu.

I think as a country we've lost our values and direction. We're slowly becoming wild animals.

Nursery school teacher BEATS parent for failing to clear fee balance of Sh 50 in Bungoma ……. UNBELIEVABLE

Friday 1^st November 2013 - A nursery school teacher has senselessly beaten up a parent for failing to pay school fees arrears of Sh 50. The parent had visited the school to pick her child yesterday when the enraged teacher attacked her.

According to eye witnesses, the teacher alleged that the parent had been evading him and didn't want to pay the balance forcing the teacher to resort to other means. The angry teacher beat her up seriously before running away.

Witnesses added that the teacher said that many parents avoided paying the balance when it reaches the end of the year knowing very well that the following year the teacher will have forgotten since the school does not keep a record.

The parent is currently recuperating at a Bungoma hospital. The head of the school has refused to give any statement to the media regarding the incident insisting that there is more than meets the eye.
