[wanabidii] The Huruma Clean up Campaign; Garbage in the mind

Friends,

In Partnership with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Nairobi Region, the City Council of Nairobi, the Redeemed Gospel Church and many Friends of The Clean Kenya Campaign, we hosted our 1st Clean-up Campaign this Year at Huruma Estate in Nairobi this morning.

The Team picking the working tools at the Redeemed Gospel Church

We converged at the Redeemed Gospel Church as from 7.00am and the Garbage Truck from the City Council of Nairobi was in time with working tools and I must appreciate Mr. Isaac Muraya- the acting Director of Environment at the CNN, Mr. Roy Alex- the Assistant Director of Environment, Mr. Duncan Miheso, Mr. Raphael Omondi and the City Council staffers who joined with us in this exercise today. Your resilience and dedication to duty was clearly seen by all.

I must also appreciate Ms Bilhah Kiptugen- the Regional Electoral Coordinator for Nairobi Region and the Constituency Coordinators from Nairobi  who joined with us in this exercise. They are determined to work for a Clean Kenya............http://kcdnkomarockswatch.blogspot.com for more.

It has never been easy organizing the Clean-up Events and it will never be easy. But with us holding hands as One Family under God, it will always be easy.

And it is not late to enjoin us with your support. It will make all the difference.

Lastly, I want to sincerely appreciate our Team at The Clean Kenya Campaign. You make it so easy for me to make noise; Edgar Wycliff Onyango, Dennis Seko, Rev Sam Okech, Ms Juliet Mwaniki, Dennis Nyakundi, Jacob and all the Team Members who joined us at Hurumu- stay blessed. Otieno Sungu is still on leave.

Let us all work for a Clean Kenya, a Clean Africa and a Clean General Election as a Transformative Deliverable as we turn 50 in Kenya.
