[wanabidii] EXPERTS NEEDED TO TESTIFY IN EAST AFRICAN COURT OF JUSTICE ON PROPOSED SERENGETI HIGHWAY

The legal case in the East African Court of Justice against the proposed Serengeti highway is ready to proceed after a recess of the court.

This important case contests the right of the Tanzanian government to build a commercial highway across the northern Serengeti due to transboundary environmental impacts.
See - http://www.savetheserengeti.org/serengeti-legal-defense-fund/

The African Network for Animal Welfare (ANAW), which brought the case, has asked Serengeti Watch to provide references of environmental experts who would be willing to testify at the trial about the impacts of a highway on the migration.

If you would like to help or know anyone who might, send a short bio to:

Josphat Ngonyo, Executive Director, ANAW.  emailjos@anaw.org
