You're a White Brit so these lessons are not meant for someone like you. They are meant for people who are facing challenges pronouncing these words or maybe just not sure of the correct way. English is not our first language and we just learn it at school through some teachers that can sometimes really massacre simple pronunciations.
I had a teacher in primary school who would pronounce:

MINUTE (as in 60 seconds) as M-EE-NUT (or using Swahili, M-I-N-A-T)
I get a lot of private mail from people who just want to confirm a word here and there.
