Re: [wanabidii] Re: [PK] Okiya Omtatah Okoiti vying for Nairobi senate on ODM ticket.

Atheist,

If you read my manifesto I have this section which takes care of all faiths, including atheism:
Religion and secularism:
I consider religion one of the most important institutions of humanity, and secularism, as a pre-requisite for democracy, and an assurance of the freedom of religion and conscience. I also reject the interpretation and distortion of secularism as enmity against religion. Basically, secularism is a principle that allows people of all religions, and beliefs, including atheists, to practise their faiths, be able to express their convictions and worldviews, and live accordingly, but which also allows people without beliefs to organize their lives along these lines. Secularism is a principle of freedom and social peace.

All the best.

Omtatah

Omtata,
The Atheist has a soft spot for you. You have a very liberal mind and i think more than anything, that is what we need.
I hope you will allow us to register our Atheist Group once in office.

All the best.
