Sensex rebounds to end the week with modest gains
BSE benchmark Sensex rebounded from last week's sharp tumble, ending the current week with modest gains by 195.18 points at 28,061.14, while broader Nifty garnered 86.45 points to finish at 8,697.60.

China's forex reserves fall to 5-year low in September
China's mountain of foreign exchange reserves dropped around $19 billion in September to a five-year low, government data showed, with the central bank spending heavily to defend its currency against capital outflows.

India's foreign exchange reserves over $371 billion
India's foreign exchange reserves went up to $371.99 billion as on September 30, the Reserve Bank of India announced. According to data released by the RBI on Friday, the reserves stood at around $371.99 billion as on September 30, as against $370.76 billion as on September 23.
