THE 4TH TANZANIA ISRAEL BUSINESS AND INVESTMENT FORUM (TIBIF) IN TEL AVIV, ISRAEL ON THE 28 – 30TH NOVEMBER 2016.

Building on the success of the first three Forums held in Dar Es Salaam and Tel Aviv, alongside follow through commitments made by leaders from both Tanzania and Israel namely the Vice President of Tanzania, Various Government Ministers, Israel Ambassadors, Tanzanian Diplomats, President of MASHAV, the CEO of Israel Export Institute, and various private sector CEOs, the Government of Israel through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Israel Export and international Cooperation Institute (IEICI) under the Ministry of Trade and the Foreign Trade Administration under the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the State of Israel again will co-host the 4th Tanzania Israel Business and Investment Forum (TIBIF) in Tel Aviv, Israel on the 28 – 30th November 2016. The Forum will bring together prominent business owners, entrepreneurs, Government officials and private sector CEOs from both Tanzania and Israel to further deepen and nurture the partnerships, innovations and business relationships initiated earlier with an aim to discuss the exciting potential for further collaboration.


In Tanzania, TIBIF-2016 is being co-organised by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, the Ministry of Industries, Trade and Investments in partnership with the Kingdom Leadership Network Tanzania (KLNT), the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) and Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC).   In the spirit of the Forum objective which aims to foster stronger commercial ties between the two countries by exploring areas of business and investment cooperation, tapping the potential economic benefits and linkages for Israeli and Tanzania businesses and projects, the organisers are seeking to leverage on Israel's industrial capabilities to maintain the steady development momentum of bilateral ties through economic partnership between the two nations.

 

This Forum comes at a pivotal time for both Tanzania and Israel relations. The Tanzania's fifth-phase Government and the Private Sector recognize the importance of Israel's Innovation and industrial capabilities in conjunction with the tremendous potential of the fast-growing and dynamic economy of Tanzania.  It is mutually agreed and understood that the promotion of economic partnerships, sustainable development, and increased two-way trade and investment is central to the Tanzania-Israel relationship. The Tanzania delegation will include key players from the Private Sector, Government Ministries, Departments and agencies (MDA) involved in the sectors of Agribusiness (including Water and Irrigation), Manufacturing, Energy/Power (including Extractive industries), Health, HLS/Technology-Innovations. In the face of a rapidly changing global economy, it will allow Israel and Tanzania companies and leaders to showcase various ways in which they are working together towards addressing new opportunities and challenges, as well as highlighting Israel's' long-term commitment to Tanzania's economic growth and prosperity.

 

That being said and to ensure that one can yield the greatest benefit from the Israel Forum, Kingdom Leadership Network Tanzania is working in partnership with the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) and both Government of Tanzania and Israel to identify the companies and projects from Private and Public sectors which will participate in the Forum. The Program format will include a three day forum built on the platform of a business Seminar, Business to Business (B2B) Meetings with relevant companies; Tours to relevant facilities; MASHAV and Public Private Partnership (PPP) Projects. MASHAV is Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation responsible with PPP; Training; Consultancies; transfer of Technology and expertise in Agriculture, Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Development; Education, Community development, Medicine and Public Health etc.


KEY INFORMATION COST OF THE MISSION ON LOGISTICAL ISSUES

Please note this mission is self-sponsored. Delegates are expected to cater for their own expenses. The Government of Israel will cater for internal logistics that are ONLY in relation to the activities that they are connected to the Forum e.g. transport for the tours, Venue costs, hospitality extended by the host etc. Participants should be able to cover the following costs:-

1.     Round trip-Air ticket

2.    Accommodation

3.    Visa Fees

4.    Other related personal costs   


VISA PROCESSING

One will need to have a valid Passport with at least six (6) months left before expiry.  Visa services for the Israel Embassy in Nairobi are outsourced and ample time needs to be arranged for dispatch, processing and return.  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tanzania will provide support to facilitate and fast track Visa processing.

  

PROJECT SUBMISSION

To make the most of this mission, we encourage you to prepare and submit a Business profile together with a project write up for: joint ventures, markets, partnerships, and/or to be financed. Please fill the accompanying registration form and a project profile sheet and submit to KLNT by October 17th 2016. For visibility, we will package your project together with other private sector and key Government projects, and present them as a Tanzania package and as national delegation.

This event is a platform; and will show case projects seeking to secure investment and trade opportunities from both sides.  The event will be used by both Governments to enhance country's Economic Diplomacy situation on its political climate, on economic interests and provide its information's on business climate environment for investment.  


REGISTRATION

Participation is by free registration only. For participation, you need to register by filling attached both the registration form and Project Profile sheet and submit to KLNT through mwijage.bishota@kingdomleadership.ne.tz by 17th October 2016 at 4.00pm. 


Travel Preparation and more details on venue, accommodation, flight booking, visa processing will be sent to the confirmed participants.
