Why should Oduol be the one to investigate these mysterious fires? Oduol is not an elected official in Siaya. Where is he supposed to get the resources to investigate these fires? The people whose mandate is to investigate such things are the POLICE, yes the POLICE.

Others who have the resources to help are the Sub-Chiefs, Chiefs, DOs, DCs, County Commissioners. The local Councillor, MP, Senator and Governor may also help.

But Oduol? A private citizen?

A mysterious fire has destroyed more than 13 homes in less than a week at Nyadheho village, Siaya County. What is bizarre about this tragedy is that the homesteads that have been razed are exclusively for elderly people. And as the old men and women of Nyadheho are rendered homeless, bewildered residents now attribute this strange occurrence to witchcraft. The ODM National Elections Board has disqualified Siaya County governor aspirants Oburu Odinga and William Oduol. The nominations dispute arose after tinitial results indicated that Oburu had been defeated, only hours later ODM announced that he had won.
