Dear Members, Friends and Partners,
We are headed for Mombasa tomorrow the 7th September 2013 where we are going to meet with our Members and those who want to Register as Members at 10am at St Stephens Bomu Catholic Church.
Kimisho Sacco Society Ltd- KSSL is taking root and we are firm on a few things;
- We are building KSSL through our Membership and Registration Fee. We are also appreciating the support that we are receiving from our Members and Friends as we are working on building a strong Foundation for Kimisho. We have done some Polo Tshirts as a means of promoting Kimisho and we are selling them at Kshs 1,000.00 for those who are willing to support us.
- Registration Fee for Membership is Kshs 500.00 payable through our KCB Mpesa Pay Bill Number 522522 to our Account Number 114 2400 913. Please get the numbers right. Monthly Shares is pegged at a Minimum of Kshs 200.00 every Month. You can subscribe at whatever figures you want. We then have a Mandatory Monthly Contribution of Kshs 20.00 from all Members to help us with office, logistics and administration.
- We are encouraging our Members to save consistently and borrow wisely. We will start loaning out to Members after 6 Months. We are in the process of recruiting a General Manager for KSSL and he will be in charge of our Sacco Society. We are recruiting through KUSCCO- the Kenya Union of Savings and Credit Co-operatives Ltd.
- We are encouraging our Members to form themselves in to Table Banking Units of 9 Members and below. We want to cushion ourselves from the hard economic times and the high costs of Finance.
- We are open to those in regular employment as well. They can access bridging finance from us as their needs may require.
- Then, we have an Investment Club for those Members who want to invest their funds. This is an Exclusive Club and Membership is by application. We have Terms and Conditions for Club Membership.
As we roll all these out, we want to invite you to make Kimisho your Family Unit of choice. We are hence all invited to be partners in this Journey of Hope across Kenya as a Kimisho Family Unit.
Let us share this Good News with Friends and Family.

LUHYA MP cries as he is conned Sh 10 MILLION by a lady in Nairobi (Wash Wash)
The Kenyan DAILY POST Gossip and Drama 07:08Wednesday September 4, 2013 - A prominent Luhya MP was recently conned a staggering Sh 10 million by a lady who had promised to double his money which was meant for his homecoming party.Apparently, the flamboyant MP who brags to be richer than President Uhuru Kenyatta, had planned to make history by throwing the biggest party ever seen in the region.But his plans were thwarted after a young woman contacted him and told him that she has a machine that doubles money. Convinced by the lady, the gullible MP met the lady at a Nairobi hotel carrying Sh 10 million cash waiting for the money to double.The MP handed the lady the 10 million in cash and in exchange the lady handed him the alleged 20 million shilling stashed in a briefcase.After pocketing the Sh 10 million, the woman left the legislator with unprocessed and fake money and walked away with the whole lot even without confirming whether the money is genuine or fake.Upon reaching his office along University Way, the lawmaker opened the briefcase and loud screams were heard over the building after the Mheshima wailed saying he has been conned Sh 10 million.The legislator has now called off the homecoming party after the incident, vowing to table a motion in Parliament to give stiff penalties to those arrested conning people in the streets.
