I'm now at Module 6, mostly trying to think up Africa-specific situations that we can use as examples when learning to give a speech to a particular group.In fact 50 people in total expressed interest and I'm thinking of creating a small forum so any any question asked by one person, and the ensuing answer, is seen by everyone. That cuts down on duplication.I just want to let those who expressed interest in the Speech-Making training that I'm still putting together the modules. I have 10 modules that should last 10 weeks, a total of 30 hrs of practice. Since this is not a face-to-face project, it might take longer than 10 weeks. I would prefer that the whole class move at the same pace in order to minimize the amount of e-mails back and forth.
You'll be shocked when you discover the tricks to being a good orator. It's all about preparation and confidence. That's what I'll help out with. There's a formula to the whole madness. No one is born with a natural talent to be a good orator; it's a learned skill.
