[wanabidii] MPs Vs Senate

Where there is smoke, certainly there is fire.

1). We sincerely need political will from the presidency to realize the dream kenyans had in the process of constitutional reforms.

2). We need leadership at every level (including on this forums) without arguments on or about seniority. Granted, leadership is measured by idea formulation and mobilization to realization - who among Mps & Senators have come with good ideas and mobilized kenyans towards reasonable results!

3).Mps have a whole constitution to put Acts of parliament in place for realization - what have they done and in particular, have they passed one on recalling them or the see a log in the senate!

4).While in the electoral process,we saw our parties and communities for either Mp or Senator - where has the rubbish of seniority cropped up from!

5).Leadership is not all about elections and appointment.Where could they be if they were not elected nor appointed!

UHURUTO have the option of implementing the constitution to full realization or reverse us to the old order - after all ,who really wanted the NEW CONSTITUTION!

Subject: {GIS} MPs Vs Senate

Hi,

The rivalry between the National Assembly and the Senate has been gathering momentum! Now, MPs are threatening to table a Constitutional Amendment Bill seeking to abolish the Senate! Many have drawn parallels of this action to the 1964 abolishment of the Upper House.

Our question, do you support the MP's push to abolish the Senate in a Constitutional Amendment Bill? And, between your MP and your Senator, who do you think is more senior?
