[wanabidii] Re: [Mabadiliko] Re: [KOL] Re: [PK] Kidero is being misled by someone

Maurice,

Here, you are 100% wrong. I understood Jerry Edwards concern and I believed I responded positively and I will therefore explain and list why you are wrong as follows:

1) Kidero is a Governor serving all people rich and poor, all parties and with all dignitaries, visitors and Ambassadors (Envoys) as well as investors and business interest of all walks of life in Nairobi Capital City & HQ and as entry point to Kenya where for this reason, Kidoro is a very important person, who deserve to be recognized and must be given his due respect, dignity and honor.......and cannot therefore is above petty politics and cannot in all due respect, bend law for an individual, self interest or party interest.........

2) Kidero is the Chief Government Executive of the State of Nairobi, doing Government job at County level but similar to those of the President in the Federal Level.

3) Take it from me that, Ida does not understand real politics of justified governance which is why Raila failed in his political quest and struggle.  To succeed in politics, it is not about an individuals' knowledge or ability, but a collective team who add value in support to a pillar of political leadership. It is because of Ida why Raila did not stay focused to champion for the Goal, but wondered on the sidewalks of wheeler-dealer to sell political gains in exchange for money worth.  Therefore, to say Tuju and Kidero were Ida's project, that is a lie........Ida is in the business of politically correct networking and through her husband, you are able to climb political ladder.

4) I want to disagree about branding people wholesale as Raila haters, as every one is different in how they see or judge things.  For example, if you are in a mission to wake up and go to work in the morning, you have time frame in your hands to wake up and get ready to be at work at a given time.  In the same way, if you buy a car, you expect that it takes you to places you want to go according to your schedule.  If the car refuses to start every time you fix it, you should be prepared to get rid of it and get the one that can take you places in a timely manner.  The same way it is with politics.  People join politics with the same different purposes and reasons.  If you realize the kind of your politics is not taking you to places you want to be in politics at a given time, you investigate why the politics is not moving forward and you change tactics ..... because time does not wait for anybody.  This is what happened by many of us and it is not true that we are Raila haters..........for one, I dont hate Raila, but I hate his way of doing politics........it is not my way......otherwise, Raila know better, and he should not be having any problem with Kidero or Tuju, or anyone else in Luo Land wanting to climb to a higher position.  If Raila shares and mingles with the Uhuru's etc., what is wrong with Kidero or any other person, a Luo to mingle with Uhuru or Ruto.......After all they are all Kenyans, why should there be any difference.........This is why Ouko was killed.......Where is it written that only Raila should talk to big business people of the world???  Why must everyone walk under Raila.......sometimes you get tired walking under people especially more or so when you are able and is in a position to use your connections to do things........I did not have to consult Raila in Kenya to be able to organize Kenyan Diaspora to Demonstrate and bring peace to Kenya during the 2007/8 election gone bad, why cant people just respect that part of doing things.  Today a lot have been achieved from my humble approach with the knack of doing things..........

5) Money is not everything in life.  In caring and sharing, we generate Love, Peace, Unity of purpose and harmony for common good of all and these are the basic fundamentals needed for strength and success.

6) Ida had her own pride and had the opportunity if she wanted to do great things, she never used the time in her position wisely..........she took chances on irrelevant things that did not sustain her husband's political mileage.  It is sad, but it is the reality.............

So, let us call a spade a spade, the bygones are bygones and let people do what they know best to harmonize the country in truth and reconcile from too much loses, pain and sorrows and in love, unite for the sake of peace in the world Moving forward ..........

Together, we are able to restore Lost Glory of African Pride...............

Judy,

I think you must have missed the point that Jerry was trying to make.

It's one thing to work with stakeholders but it's something entirely different to br seen to be working against the party that got you elected.

Kidero was Ida's project just as Tuju was before that. Ida is so far batting 0 for 2 since her projects are very popular with Raila-haters.

Jerry Edwards,
You have a beautiful English name which is quite uncommon in Kenya......its alright, keep it that way.
People should be different only during election time, after election all people must be one………If people are divided, then the Government is divided and there shall be no good governance………The Peoples Government is a pool of Resources shared in Unity for common good of all in fairness where all have an access for opportunity to make their lives better in harmony challenging competitive progressive programs moving forward………… ………………
However, let us chambua.....KIDERO'S ATTITUDE......good or bad....and what wrong has he done to deserve lashing........sincerely, let us chambua fairly..........Here we go......
1) Kidero won and was elected on ODM ticket. Once elected a leader, one is suppose to serve all people without discrimination and deliver in a fair bipartisan way; to all those who elected him and those who did not. Kidero must be seen to serve all people through the Government's regulatory system in a balance irrespective of Party affiliation. Why is this so? It is because Government is the people's property where he earns a salary from peoples taxes and he is not being paid a salary by ODM. This is what the law demands...........and anyone not following the law is in contravention and is not complying and is therefore in default and can be sued in the court of law for discrimination if there are proof.
2) As much as President Uhuru has a case at the ICC which I feel he must comply, I see nothing wrong for Kidero to work with Uhuru to serve the people.
3) A Leader is supposed to be knowledgeable, informed, consultative with his constituents, prepare his budget after drawing up proposal for his Plan of Action in conformity with his County peoples interests and priority......again, in his County constituent he must engage diverse Party members in the Collaborative Committee for his Plan of Action and this is not done by the ODM who gave him the ticket. ODM like any other Party will submit their proposals to the Governor for consideration along with those of other Party from their Party Headquarters.
4) The President is at liberty to consult and work closely with all Governors irrespective of Party affiliation to catch up on updates and information etc., and there is nothing wrong with that.
5) To be aggressive, is to see things working and the constituents are in agreement with the leader for his reaching out cross boarders, is engaging with the people from addressing and fulfilling their needs and problems and demands, provide security and safety, engage in Social Welfare etc., .......and all activities must be within a given time frame............
6) The Leaders must explain his activity plans, put list of Agenda of areas of consideration and priority for people to engage and participate without discrimination.
7) Leader must be Transparent and accountable ...... and people have rights to put the leader on checks........with demands why things are not done the way they should.
8) A leader must respect the law and observe and participate in Legislative Policy matters (Public Mandate) and work towards making Policy demands a reality by respecting, instilling and following Policies as guiding principles............
I have therefore seen no mistake on Kidero's part of conduct in his Governorship. All I gather is that the ODM leadership want to intimidate Kidero and use him as a door mat ...... when he must have an independent mind to be able to serve diligently………am I right or wrong???..........If I am wrong, I want to hear Policy complaints and not complaints that Kidero did not participate in corruption and in unfinished corrupt business of the past Kibaki and Raila Administration leadership……........Kidero must correct the mistakes that made Nairobi feared and stolen from…………the Nairobi we all want…………The Nairobi that all visitors from the world would feel safe and secured and remove ghost workers who have draining public taxpayer into political pockets illegally…………..
Finally, Kidero is suppose to serve the PEOPLE and not Raila or ODM........if this is the demand from ODM leadership, then they in prejudice and are breaking the law even if ODM gave Kidero ticket for leadership.
Again, let me remind all people that, all people irrespective of their Party affiliation are the Government. All leaders must work in the Government to serve all people irrespective of Party affiliation, and any discrimination thereof is contravention of the Law and it is a Crime punishable by law.........Government is about the People and not an Individual whether big or small................Parties are vehicles people use to get a ticket to choose leaders and the winner must serve all people without any favor or discrimination.............All are equall and all must play by the same set of Rules...............This is the Law....................
Shall I get Amen from Jerry Edwards with all good people of the world who care for Kenya............!!!

We need leaders who are aggressive in their thinking and execution of duties, not ones with physical aggression. This would be president need to check his behaviour (physical) and be aware of how this might negate his leadership chances-especially female voters.
On the issue of identifying with Jubilee, this fellow need to realise that he was elected on ODM ticket, he therefore must be seen to support them in any way he can. Spending most of his time with the president more than he does with ODM executive is worrying and ODM leadership have a right to query his approach. If he feels that ODM leadership is talking nonsense, them he must consider his position, and seek a new mandate from voters on a different ticket.
On another note what he might not realise is that, Jubilee are listening to grapevine, and would rather put him close, learn him and block his future candidacy for the top seat. He has to be careful. Someone is misleading him!
