TAARIFA KUHUSU TUKIO LA KUFARIKI KWA AFISA WA JWTZ KATIKA JUKUMU LA KULINDA AMANI - DRC, GOMA

1. Kama mnavyofahamu, JWTZ linashiriki katika operesheni za Umoja wa Mataifa huko Goma DRC. Kikosi chetu kimeendelea kutekeleza majukumu yake ya kulinda amani kama kinavyopangiwa na Jeshi la Umoja wa Mataifa nchini DRC lijulikanalo kama MONUSCO.

2. Tarehe 28 Agosti 2013 wanajeshi wetu wakiwa katika eneo lao la Ulinzi waliangukiwa na bomu katika eneo hilo na kusababisha majeruhi. Wakati wanapelekwa hospitali kwa matibabu, kwa bahati mbaya mwanajeshi wetu mmoja, Meja Khatibu Mshindo alifariki dunia. Majeruhi wengine wanaendelea na matibabu, na hali zao zinaendelea vizuri.

3. MONUSCO inaandaa utaratibu wa kuleta mwili wa marehemu.
