[wanabidii] Re: [PK] THE AIRPORT SAGA...CLARIFICATION BY AIRPORTS AUTHORITY

My advice to the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, is to use the regular citizens' lounges at the airports. This will serve him well as a man of the people. After all, according to the late Mother Theresa of Calcutta, we learn humility through accepting humiliations cheerfully.

Im sure Raila understands the genesis of his current humiliations and the worst is yet to come. He ain't seen anything yet; even worse than what he went through as a co- principal to Kibaki! Losing the Presidency twice does not change one's valiant spirit.

If truly, there is a scheme from the Jubilee government to humiliate the former Prime Minister; those responsible will suffer the same fate at the right point in time. If its Uhuru or Ruto or Kimemia behind the humiliations, they will not stay in their current positions forever.
Bwana Raila, God calls us to be humble… Humility is a great defense against humiliation. Remain mute, and let the Kenyan citizens watch the drama and judge.

As Kenyans, it's not prudent to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliations at our watch. We must always take sides to stand with the oppressed because; neutrality will spur the ego of the oppressor, and never the victim. Our Silence will encourage the tormentor- Jubilee govt not the tormented-Raila Odinga.

Dear Rev. KM and Roz,

Let the crying dogs (in Kenya, dogs & men are almost the same as they drink from same pots) cry. It might be their only way of relieving pain and strong emotions.

Regards,

KM,

Roz must have met very strange men indeed if she's not fond of men who cry. it's normal for human beings to cry and show show emotions if the situation demands it e.g. at a funeral, in intense pain etc. Any man who never cries no matter what the situation, is not sane. Even Roz's hero, Miguna, said that there's a time for laughing, crying, being happy, sad or angry. Any man who never cries, for example, is someone with mental issues.

I feel sorry for Roz. She has onlly met some very weird men.

Even Obama cried when those kids were shot in a US classroom. Even Reagan cried when 200 marines were killed in Lebanon in 1982. Even Clinton cried when those kids were shot in Columbine in the US in 1999. Even Jimmy Carter cried when those more than 400 Americans were kidnapped in Iran in 1979 and kept as hostages . Even Nyerere cried when Idi Amin attacked the Kagera region in 1979. Even the Japanese PM cried when the nuclear power plant was melted by those huge ocean waves.
The list goes on and on.

Roz should men new men who are normal.

Courage

Maryann,

I'm not fond of  men who cry...or whine.....and I've never seen any of my sons shed a tear..or moan about anything.... not since the day I stopped smacking their bottoms   when need required....probably at 4 yrs old. Well we did have a handy bush not far from the front door which they called The Pilipili  Bush....with long thin easy to break off branches which came in useful on rare occasions for those a bit older than 4... and too fast for me.
And I used to smile inside when teachers told me how polite, well-rounded and well-behaved my children were.
HOWEVA!!...I somehow  had an inner instinct that it was wise to tame these little b...s before they became teens.

Roz,

I been reading and re-reading this whole saga, and honestly, i don't see what the big deal is, or what people are fussing over, :)))))) and please excuse me "ignorance".
In any case, the KQ Simba Lounge is really nice and well equipped, even with shower facilities, hot meals, and really relaxing atmosphere, ama it must be VIP something, eeiiiish Kenyas, we love image hata where its not necessary,

The Kenya Airports Authority has clarified that presidential loser Raila Odinga can only access one of the three VIP lounges at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, but will not have the luxury of being driven into the air area (inside the airport runways) because of security concerns.
The KAA issued a statement after Odinga attack dogs went over drive accusing the government of denying him access to the lounge.  Let's get things right here; Odinga lost the March presidential elections and should not expect to be treated like a top government official; however because he served as Prime Minister in the coalition government with retired president Kibaki, the government has allowed him in one of the three lounges.
But, the KAA added: "The former Prime Minister has unrestricted access to the Government VIP Lounge."
I am tired of his baby cries and demands for apology from the government.
KAA CLARIFIES THAT THE FORMER PRIME MINISTER HAS ACCESS TO THE JKIA VIP LOUNGE
Nairobi ….June 4th 2013 ….. Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) would like to clarify that the former Prime Minister and his wife were not denied access to the VIP lounge at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
KAA has confirmed that, contrary to reports appearing in sections of the media, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and his wife Ida were allowed access and the use of the Government VIP Lounge on Monday and last Friday respectively.
However, the authority confirmed that no convoy can drive to the airside, because JKIA is a highly restricted security zone.  According to national security regulations, only vehicle convoys belonging to the President of Kenya, visiting Heads of State and the Deputy President of Kenya can access the airside at any of the airports in Kenya.
KAA also clarified that JKIA has three VIP Lounges – the State Pavilion for the President of Kenya and visiting Heads of State, the VIP III Lounge for the Deputy President of Kenya and Retired Heads of State and the Government VIP Lounge for Ambassadors and Government VIPs.  The former Prime Minister has unrestricted access to the Government VIP Lounge.
