[wanabidii] Kid out of Wedlock!

Dear Wams,
 
I only know Tom (not true name) - i have worked for a company where he is an employee for three years.He recently told me his story for a kid he has been taking care of as his own.He assigned me to find a medic/centre for testing DNA to establish whether the kid is his. He wants to know the truth so that;-
 
a).He prepares everything for the kid if he is the real dad.
b).Spoil for a legal battle for compensation from the kids mother for fraud-he feels cheated and was threatened by her late uncle.
c).The mother (Joy-not true name) got married to a man who didn't want her with the kid as his community beliefs in abomination - mtoto ni wa baba,period!They have two kids with that man.
 
Even though i know KEMRI and pathocare can do the testing,i have not told him.When he asked me to prepare quontum for possible compensation,the usually calm man gazzed at me strongly and i saw a real shake on the kid.
 
 I asked him why now and not before (kid is about 7 1/2 years old),he said the kid asked for his mother after school jioni saying that a kid had his birthday in school and was brought a cake by his mother.
 
Then i thought to myself that the kid will be subjected to court muscle flexing by grown ups who never tamed their weapons of mass destruction.
 
The kid will have to look for a new home (uknown father),school,friends na kadhalika. I then remembered Ikemefuna of Things fall Apart who ran to Okonkwo as his dad only for Okonkwo to finish him - Achebe - R.I.P. And that so i thought of getting views to guide ( i believe two or so minds are better than one).The story is as below;-
 
 
True story;-
 
Once upon a time,a young man (say Tom) had a relationship with his nearby village girl(say Joy). While on holiday from college,the Joy visited Tom one evening and spent the night with him.He says he was unease but went over it.Shortly afterwards,she informed him that she got pregnant and will carry it maturity.Unfortunately to him, a baby boy was born normal in 7 1/2 months instead of the known 9 months. When the kid was 9 months,this Joy abandoned her son at Tom's home where his mother took care of the young kid.
 
Tom was still in college,Joy got married to a nother man and now they have two kids. Tom's mother advised him to accept and take responsibility of the young angel and they took him to one of the best schools in their village.
 
When Joy conceived,her uncle breath fire that Tom had done an abormination and will do something to him that will interfear with his college life.The uncle "unfortunately passed" before taking action on Tom. Tom is through college,employed,married and helping his mum to raise the kid now about 7 years old.He is yet to get a kid with his wife.
 
Over time,Tom is not fully convinced that he fathered the kid on account of how Joy went to him one evenning.He also shivers on remembering the threats of the late uncle. Tom wants to know the truth and is currently researching on where to do a medical test for DNA to establish parternity.He say he will take care of the young boy if he is the father,but also breathing fire for compensation through a legal process if it was a fraud by Joy.

Do you know the man.? Ask him to go to HELL or find a single woman without a kid.

And the girl....Tell her I said she's an Idiot.Are they from my county.? I would like to have a word with both of them...IDIOTS.She needs to move on with her life and wait for the right man who will love her unconditionally.
