[wanabidii] Happy Madaraka Day to all

I just want to wish all Kenyans a happy and fun-filled Madaraka Day.

This is now 50 yrs since Kenya assumed Responsible Government status. It's when for the first time, Kenyans could make their day-to-day decisions about how to run their affairs. It's the first time our native Kenyans could , for example, decide that they wanted to buils a secondary school in Makueni or a hospital in Mariakani or a cattle dip in Narok.

Now, I have a challenge for those who are interested. What's the difference between Madaraka Day and Jamhuri Day?  Is there any Kenyan who is still not clear about the difference between these 2 ?

Courage,
Oduor Maurice Wod Plista Ny'Alego Gang
