[wanabidii] Kisumu county academic fraudsters

Good question Maurice.  Additionally, in a competitive challenging environment,
consultative opinions would help set-up stronger foundation for the county's solid
establishment.  The elected officials must open forum for dialogue and they will
be surprised how much ideas will flow in including technical and financial support
which they are able to get from Diaspora to get the County functioning without
being hijacked by special interests.  From experience, Diaspora has a lot to add
value for County's success; ofcourse sharing alongside the local people .... its
called "Brain Storming or Think Tanks".......

Good people, Get the ball rolling and be serious.........

But why has Japuonj Abonyo been appointed Secretary for Water and Energy if he's a Pharmacologist? Weren't these Secretaries supposed to be professionals in the fields of their appointments? Or we're back to saying we just need good managers? Yes, they should be good managers but also from the same field. From my experience, it makes a huge difference. We don't need a Secretary who takes the first year to learn about the industry of his jurisdiction.

Courage

Sawa. I knew it was a forward. I remember reading his name on the faculty. Before arriving in MD in 2006, my other destination was Tallahassee and used to look for opportunities around there. Then tumbled on Africans there and Dr. OBONYO name resurfaced.
Then later when Rao went to be honored there, my best friend Charles Opondo mentioned Dr. Obonyo. Opondo lives in St. PETERSBURG FL and was in Pensacola when FL was my other home.

KM-thanks for that. The writing is from Jaluo.com. I just wanted some clarification

Jerry

Wacheni siasa mingi ya kuminyana. I am not sure about deportation but I doubt he was. Dr. Obonyo organized for Raila's PhD and taught at Florida A&M university at Tallahassee. I have never met him but I know he taught Pharmacology there. I used to live 2 hours from there and wish I knew him then. I would be confirming if he is a fraud.
If you are right, let Raila know this. For now I stand with Dr. Obonyo at this very trying moment.

Any takers on this one:
-Dr.Barrack Otieno Abonyo-Water,Energy and Natural Resource
He also hails from Kano he is portrayed as an Associate Professor of Pharmacology at Florida A & M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The truth is that the man never stepped inside this institution and all checks reveals that he never schooled there.
He was deported from the US and arrived in Kenya and started going round that he wanted to be contest Gubernatorial seat only to discover that he was real broke and could not sustain his campaigns.
He is usually found idling at a certain hotel within the outskirts of town where he is given free accommodation and meals:
