If I were the family, I would hire a private pathologist from another country, e.g. the US or UK, to do the investigation. Kenyan pathologists are not trustworthy at all because they have a history of reporting what they have been instructed to report. Remember Robert Ouko who broke his own knees, shot himself on the head the set himself on fire !!!!!

The pathologists should quickly tell us the cause! If "natural" causes, then it is ease! If suspected foul play investigations can be undertaken! If no headway, then an inquest like that of Ms Keino!If political that you can be sure will not be resolved in our lifetime!

Was just confirming that a heart attack can be sudden in an otherwise fit person person and kill him in minutes. the other causes you mention are possibilities as well. I once went to a friend's house in Eldoret and had to open the windows and put the jiko outside outside because i feared we might all die from carbon monoxide poisoning.   

i just do not know how well and quickly the police will work to resolve the mystery if going by their investivation of Saitoti's death and others is anything to go by.

Anyway, let's wait.

How do you know it is heart attack? One time  Japanese PM candidate died like so but later it came to be known that he committed suicide! Another politician died like so in Nicaragua and later it was known he was poisoned! Another in Papua New Guinea was  murdered!Let those Whose mandate is to investigate do their job!They will tell us the cause!
