reason being i am a man and have a child and enjoy the whole thing- not challenged

but seeing that you are fixated that men should find taking care of children challenging

Let us try "staying home with the kids" while the wife is at work or on a business trip. Any time a man is left with children alone, many find it so challenging. Children demand or require so much- the cry and whining- I need this, I need that; diaper changing; the repeated question, "when is mama coming" and such like
Today at the Drivers license office, I witnessed the struggle of one guy. His wife was on line waiting to renew the license. The guy was moving from point A to point B wondering what time the wife will be done.
Generally speaking, taking care of children and their many needs is a tough job for men. That is why as for me, I take off the hat for women for managing the tough job

I imagine that the attitude you have on this issue is very normal in
Kenya. Not over where I stay buddie. Infact over here one of the first
tests a woman puts you through during the 'interview' period is put
you in babysitting situations and see how you fair.
Moturi, why would I look at being with my kids as babysitting? You
make it sound like work. babysitting is a job but being with your own
kids is not work so should not be referred to as babysitting.
When my kids were born, each time I took 6 months off work to be home
with them while the wife went to work. We shared the one-year Parental
leave half-half; she takes the first 6 months and I take the next. It
gave me a tremendous appreciation of the role of a stay-at-home
parent.
Try it if you ever get a chance.
