Kama kuna kiongozi tutakaemuenzi kuliko wote kwenye historia ya taifa letu ni yule atakayeruhusu kuundwa kwa tume huru ya uchaguzi na katiba makini yenye mrengo wa kitaifa. Hata awe na dhambi mbaya kiasi gani tutamsamehe!

Tanzanians received a stark warning yesterday: If we go to the 2015 poll without a new constitution, this nation's peace and stability might be heavily compromised. The chairman of the Constitution Review Commission, Mr Joseph Warioba, expressed fears that the mounting tensions in social and political circles could build up as the country approaches the General Election.
He told members of the Parliamentary Constitutional, Legal Affairs and Governance Committee that the situation calls for an overhaul of the key institutions and national guiding principles.
