In Tanzania our major enemy ni udini kwa sasa as you rightly put it. We need a president who rarely laugh at the funeral! That is why we are there.
We need a president who says no while real meaning NO. Only a courageous president who can stand and say in capital letters that NCHI YETU HAINA DINI.
I don't buy cheap endless excuses that Kikwete is let down by his aides. That's where his capacity ends. If HK has known this setback what hinders him to pass this information to JK?
Decision making incapacity is his greatest enemy. Rail is above this. We have seen him several times saying no to the authority which takes a man to dare.
Yes there are the likes of Nyerere, but cheap politics kills our nation's destiny.

I have a strong faith for Africa's potential to grow and liberate her people economically and socially; the major bottleneck for us to realise our desired success is nothing but lack of good leadership: we need daring, visionary leaders who have the interests of the people at heart, who are ready to die for their people. Rais JK is visionary, charismatic, kind but is everyday being let down by his subordinates, his friendly and tolerant attitude is being tried and abused. I believe Raila is visionary and hardworking, just let him avoid comradism and stick to his dream and set up a good team to assist with leading the new Kenya!
