[wanabidii] Re: [Kiswahili] Njoroge's Puzzle!

Evans,

This may seem very clever on the surface but it's criminal. The raffle purchasers had a reasonable expectation that they were gambling to get a live cow. The guy who won had every right to demand a live cow because he was risking his money and he could have easily lost the 500/- anyway. The problem here is that the winner had no faith in the system so he simply cut his losses and accepted hiss money back.

Courage

A Week later, they meet and Ole Nabori asks what he did with the Cow, Njoro says "I Entered
raffle for it to be Won and sold 150 tickets @ 500 each and made a profit of 75,000. I dint tell them that the cow was Dead "

Nabori asks, "Didnt people Complain?" Njoro answers, "Only the Winner so i game him his 500 and i remained with 74,500!!!"
