[wanabidii] Join us for the 2nd Annual Walk for the Children - Toronto Zoo - Sunday October 14, 2012 @9:30 am!

Habari zenu? Sisi poa. Kwa ambao wako GTA,  The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto is are again, this year, excited to share with you the upcoming 2ND Annual Walk for the Children! This is an exciting and unique way you can participate in helping children from around the world receive life altering treatment at SickKids hospital through the Herbie Fund. The Herbie Fund is committed to helping children from around the world receive life-altering medical treatment not available in their home country. This programme as you all may know has helped some children from Tanzania.  One is expected from Arusha shortly, as soon as a host family and/or other alternative accomodation is found. Host family volunteers are are necessary for the success of Herbie Fund.

 

We would like to invite you as our guests to a day filled with fun packed activities for you and your families.

The day will feature:

 

·         An exciting new route through the Toronto Zoo that features the Children's Discovery Walk , Australasia Pavilion, Core Woods, African rainforest and Lion Exhibit!

·         The wonderful at the Savannah Picnic site!

·         The day will also feature entertainment and lots of activities and fun for the whole family!

Time: 9:30am

 

Please RSVP by October 9, 2012 with the number of attendees that would like to participate in the walk and we will ensure your names are on the guest list.

Sunday, October 14, 2012 - Toronto Zoo

Get your passports stamped as you meander through this year's exciting new route featuring the Children's Discovery Walk, Australasia Pavilion, Core Woods, African rainforest and Lion Exhibit. The celebration continues at the Savannah picnic site for a delicious Shopsy's lunch, entertainment, activities and lots of fun!

This event will raise funds for the Herbie Fund in support of The Hospital For Sick Children through participant registration fees and, most importantly, your individual fundraising efforts.

All participants and groups can register online and set up their own fundraising page.

The Fun begins at 9:30a.m.

For every $100 raised you will receive a ballot.**
