FAMILY BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND SUCCESSION PLANNING WORKSHOP
15 DECEMBER, 2012, DAR ES SALAAM

Objectives:
The course will empower you to build a sustainable business through
effective management of family issues and succession. After completion,
you should be able to:

(I) Identify and handle unique challenges of running family enterprises;
(ii) Handle family conflicts and differences in the course of running a
business;
(iii) Develop and implement effective succession plans; and
(iv) Consciously and systematically nurture successors.

Target Group:
• Current and aspiring owners and managers of family businesses, and
• Family members who are not directly involved in business operations.
• Family members are highly encouraged to attend together.

Approach:
• Practical oriented, drawing from experiences of successful families and
research on family businesses in Africa.

Date, venue and fees:
• Saturday 15th Dec, 2012, at JB Belmont Hotel, Facing New Post Office,
Dar City Centre, from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

The fee is TZS 50,000/= per participant, covering tuition, venue, workshop
materials and refreshments.
