We are looking for a LCA researcher - optimization algorithms and process engineering.
Within the framework of a National research project, you will contribute to the development of a methodology and a tool for the coupling of integrated process modelling-LCA and optimization algorithms (constraint and multi-objective programming), specifically in the field of (waste)water treatment. The project will be conducted in collaboration with INSA-Toulouse (France) and the Cork Constraint Computation Centre (Ireland). Your main task will be the development and testing of the optimization model, sensitivity and uncertainty analysis approaches. You may also be asked to develop your own research stream in this field and to apply for dedicated competitive funding.
The position is based in Luxembourg (short research stays in Toulouse-F and Cork-IE).
