[wanabidii] NEW YEAR 2015 GREETINGS

Happy New Year 2015 everyone, I love all of you. I am inspired many of you are so passionate and committed to see the country change for better. I love your contributions, passion and commitment, as our country needs this drive now more than ever.

 

In the quest for our betterment I wanted to share few important things which i thought can be easily overlooked.

 

GET INVOLVED AND DO SOMETHING TO CONTRIBUTE IN ANY LEVEL, ESPECIALLY ON THE GRASSROOT.

 

As Tanzanians its important to understand that our individual arm's length contribution in developing our nation matters a lot, than most of us would have thought.

 

We all need to remind ourselves that the people most affected by the hardship the country is facing are the majority 80%; but funny enough these are the same people who have the power to decide who should be on the helm steering our country.

 

This could be an interesting dialogue but, we ask ourselves what was usually going wrong that these 80% got things so wrong, it is easy to jump into conclusion, but wait a minute.

 

All of us need to understand that unless people on grassroots, front lines, individual level get inspired and start to engage effectively in developing our country; then this might be the dream many of us dreamt that never came true.

 
We need people YOU and ME who can inspire and help Tanzanians to understand their individual responsibilities to themselves, to others and to the nation.

No nation can develop without its people understanding their responsibilities and accountabilities toward the development they want. Now you could answer why Tanzania we are where we are.

It's important for us to be advocates and inspirer of civic and social economic responsibility, good governance, and good work ethics, hardworking etc. to the people around us. If we start ourselves being role models and advocate out; then people around us will see our practical passion and conviction, and there is a chance they will be inspired.

 

Many of us looks for someone to do it for us, there aren't someone you think, that someone you think is YOU.

Get involved and do something, within your capacity faithfully, I could assure you, you don't need more than YOUR AMRS LENGTH.

If all of us do our bits the society and nation must move forward irregardless of the ODDS.

We need to learn to do feasible practical stuffs which have the effects we desire.  But we need to know as well what are the issues holding back.

IMPORTANT QUESTION:

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE IN YOU PERSONAL LEVEL, CONTRIBUTING OR GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY YOU BELONG, THE VILLAGE, WARD, DISTRICT, AND REGION YOU ARE COMING FROM?

Money is only one factor, but your presence, participation, advices, influence and contributions matters a lot and makes so much difference, you can't even imagine.

STEPS:

Engage with your community in the street, town, village, and ward/district; get involved in the development activities or in other committees and with other stakeholders.

Engage in charitable works to support, empower, impart and complement efforts people are putting towards development.

Engage in/with business to impart and empowering the economic stakeholder's potentials in order to enable them to create wealthy and contribute in social economic development.

 

Engage in politics and participate effectively and actively not passively. This has been a source of major predicaments in developing countries.

Friends you cannot be serious in developing the country and leave politics alone, this is the one area which has major influence and effects to our daily lives. I don't have to speak much as most of us know the position our country is now. Politicians have plummeted us into social and economic abyss by grand corruptions, irresponsible policies, plundering almost if not all of our resources in the name of development. You could see how it is important for all of us to participate in politics and ensure we put in power the right people, and hold them responsible and accountable for their actions.

 

Engage with the government in supporting their work, highlight solutions, areas of priorities, and contribute your influence.

Engage with the media to engage audiences in order to impart the right mind-sets.

Engage with the faith groups in supporting their work and open their mind-sets to the right priorities.  This is one area which can create a lot of trouble if not engaged or can create a tolerant and cohesive society where all people lives in harmony.

You can see it takes a lot to move not only society but even more the nation. And it is a constant never ending battle which needs your vision, passion, participations, and commitment always.
