30th April 2014 Dear , Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) recently changed its Customs System to the new  TANCIS (Tanzania Customs Integrated System). Certain aspects of the new system implementation continues to cause delays in clearance, significantly reducing the number of shipments cleared each day.   We are in touch with TRA and have been assured that they are working on the problems. DHL Express will actively  work closely with TRA to ensure expeditious resolution and that your shipments are cleared and delivered to you as soon as possible.
