RE: LAUNCHING OF A BOOK "AN ENTERPRISE MAP OF TANZANIA"

The International Growth Center (IGC) in collaboration with the Ministry
of Industry and Trade will launch a book titled An Enterprise Map of
Tanzania at Hyatt Regency Hotel (The Kilimanjaro) on 13th December, 2012
from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm. The event will be officiated by Hon. Abdallah
Kigoda, Minister for Industry and Trade.

The book is based on a recently completed study and is co-authored by
Prof. John Sutton of the London School of Economics (LSE) and Dr. Donath
Olomi of the Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development
(IMED) Tanzania and supported by Confederation of Tanzanian Industries and
other stakeholders. It provides a historical account of key industrial
sectors and firms, tracing the sources and development of existing
capabilities. It is an invaluable resource for policy makers, researchers,
consultants, educators and policy makers in entrepreneurship and private
sector development.
