RE: [wanabidii] Get the word out - Kenyan Author, Miguna Miguna speaks at the University of Toronto on August 10, 2012 on Kenyan Politics

Judy,

I understand perfectly what you are saying. This is the ideal situation mankind should cherish and fight for. Unfortunately things are now always like that.  I can see Kenya changing into the right direction under Rao. He is not perfect but he has tried and since no situation is permanent and change is inevitable let keep and hope for the best.  I would encourage you to support RAO because this man has a record of performance, determination, commitment, courage, willing to take risks, willing to pay a price and enjoy the joy of success. Give him a break because he might do certain things because its the only way.  Could you imagine a man penetrating a ruling party and bring it down? Could you imagine a man twice defeating a government in power first on constitution and second on the ballot?.  What about surviving the Nyayo basement experiences.  Judy take from me I am not a Kenyan and no body has paid me a penny to write this down.  I want to assure you that at the moment you do not have an alternative to RAO.  He is the man and only man how can lead Kenya and move the country to the next horizons. Give him the support he needs and you will never regret.  Kenya first and other things like tribalism etc come next or should not even be allowed to arise.

Cheers

Herment A Mrema

Tom,

No, you got the spelling there wrong. It is Go-Wok. Again, for any country to grow and progress, it is important that people must accept the struggle for change reform so to meet challenges for competition through shared ideas, which comes with the change to reform, and in equal measure, improve lifestyle of many. We must wake up from life of illusion where, it is very difficult for man or woman to realize what is really good until they are paraded to slaughter houses or they reach a point of no return.

We want a situation where, if I can have my life improved; likewise, I would love to share my experience with my community including the greater Nationals of the world for Peace and Unity. These are the principles of good leadership. Instead what do we get, In a number of cases; day in day out, our leaders are full of self-ego, they are selfish, are greedy with don't care attitude. These leaders prefer to keep job opportunities and business under their control shared amongst their preferred network cocoon of monopoly. In the consequence, it is corruption, selfishness and greed the reason why there is poor governance with public moral and trust derailed.

At this juncture, why should we praise and be happy with those who put us at arm's length, who plan to destroy our unity, peace and livelihood, those who make our lives suffer in pain with bitterness? Where is love or logics in this argument…….???

There is evidence that such behavior will make life stagnate and collapse. There is no life and life has no meaning if others are treated unfairly with neglect in an engineered conspiracy of jeopardy to deny others survival and livelihood. It is unacceptable, illegal and unconstitutional to let people die in poverty or are exterminated by foiled sicknesses to die in mass so to occupy and own their land.

This is what "Free Trading Enterprising" by the Special Interest is all about. They engage in high level corruption, graft and impunity where with the power of money they accumulate from Government Contracts, Public Wealth Resources, utilities and facilities including Tax Revenue evasion where they avoid paying taxes; they instead intimidate, manipulate, marginalize and create fear to pressure and control the disadvantaged as well as the larger Middle-Class people's to succumb to their jeopardy conspiracy scheme. The Public Wealth Resource and Revenues remain their preserve as beneficiaries and stakeholders.

The idea of the present game is that life and happiness stays with the unscrupulous corrupt Rich who are networking with the political class along their CEOs and lobbyist of International Corporate Special Interest. This must not be the case people, and it should not be how we want to be treated in a good democratic governance. There must be transparency and accountability; checks and balances under a [Legislative Bills of Rights] regulated policy order to deliver public service in an organized manner. The Government leadership must be able in a Responsible manner, make Government services easy to access, protect and preserve livelihood fairly; and in a shared responsibility engage public opinions where all are treated the same and are able to access opportunities for development without discrimination, fear or intimidation.

Life must change for better and good Democratic Governance primary function is to plan, organize and provide formula for a Government system to work (free-flow) favorably in delivering a balanced public service to the people away from careless killings, overburdening, pain and sufferings; but with security being top in the agenda. Monopoly will never make a Nation strong. An opportunity for Fair competition does. Corporate Special Interest are therefore wrong in trying to monopolize business and control Public Wealth, resources, facilities and revenues to their advantages.

In any situation of life, if nothing is working for goodness sake, change is an option. In marriage or partnership, this is the same fundamental basics to good and healthy relation. In partnership relation, if one does not value or care to accommodate shared interest, the marriage or partnership is as good as dead which the option is divorce. No one want to live in a hopeless wishful thinking aiming a bridge to nowhere. Instead of life getting better or improving to all, it gets worse to others; this is unacceptable. All must sacrifice to make life better for all.

It takes men and women of great wisdom to see real meaningful ways for good life and there are only few brain power of great thinkers to take bold steps of faith to risk and push for sustainable feasible (lasting) reform change which may seem shaking comfort zones of a few, but at the end, shall benefit many; the result which many will enjoy good life, security will be improved and all will gain peace, unity and love. Such people are few and one of such great thinkers is Miguna Miguna who started with challenging bad corrupt leadership by putting it plain in a book which I believe, he is ready to challenge in a court of law.

There is some light in Miguna Miguna book........Yes, it will open peoples eyes to see and get some reality checks.......

Have a beautiful weekend people.....!!!

Why does he choose a name that resembles "Miguna Gwok"?
