This was a diplomatic faux pas. I think Joyce Banda was adhering to her Malawian tribal culture but no one told her that it sends out a wrong message that she's subservient to the men in front of her !!!  These people need to take lessons in how to project the proper image.

She literally knelt in front of fellow Heads of State !!!!!!
