[wanabidii] INVITATION; I am a Peace Maker Initiative

Friends,

The Moi University Christian Union- MUCA, kindly invites all those who may join with them, to join with them for a Peace Walk in Langas in Eldoret on the 29th September 2012.

This is a noble initiative, especially coming from the Youth of Kenya. It shows that we really do care for each other as a Nation.

The University of Nairobi's Chiromo Campus
The Clean Kenya Campaign Team will be in Eldoret for a series of events on the 27th and 28th September 2012 and we will also join with the Students on the 29th September 2012 for this important Walk.
Peace Building is the Second Thematic Area in The Clean Kenya Campaign Strategic Plan and as such, we will use the occasion to also share with all those who will attend.
We are also happy that Kenyans are responding to The Clean Kenya Campaign and as such, several groups are reaching out to us either for guidance, support and partnership. WE really do appreciate all the emails we are receiving from Kenyans and even none Kenyans.

On the 8th September 2012, Kounkuey Design Initiative and Usalama Youth Forum Group will be teaming up with other CBOs in cleaning Lindi and Laini Saba in Kibera.

On the 15th September 2012, Kisumu will be hosting the Mother of all Clean-ups when KICOCEN will be teaming up with the Municipal Council of Kisumu in a Massive Clean up in Town.

Kibabii DTTC Vision 2030 Steers Club from Bungoma will also be joining with us in Kisumu on the 15th September for the Clean-up and Awareness Campaign.
This is a sure confirmation that Kenyans need to celebrate our 50 years of Independence with something we can proudly hold and toast. To this extent, let us all work for a Clean Kenya in our own small ways.

A Clean Neighbourhood
Do not listen to people who have been messing with us since Independence.People who have run Initiatives that seem to be stuck at Policy Levels only. The Clean Kenya Campaign is ours to hold and to cherish. You may do your part by simply being responsible with how you handle your waste, how you dispose of your waste and how you become a keeper of your neighbourhood. And be part of this Great Transformation taking place in Kenya in our Time.
On the 18th September 2012, we will be launching The Clean Kenya Campaign Cleanliness Competition and we want to target our Towns, our Estates, our Markets, our Schools and Colleges, and even our homes. We have started receiving emails of willingness to participate. This is going to be exciting and we turn garbage and waste into past tense.
Together with our Partners, we will fete the winning Teams during our Review Forum on the 6th December 2012 at the KICC.
We are hence inviting your continued support, participation and partnership as we all join in this Journey of Hope across Kenya.

Let us all work for a Clean Kenya as a Transformative Deliverable as we turn 50.
