Sensex, Nifty recover early losses; finish fairly flat
The equity benchmarks on Friday recouped the early losses to end in green for the week. The 30-share BSE Sensex finished 48.70 points (0.16 per cent) higher at 31,262.06 while the broader 50-share NSE Nifty surged by 21 points (0.22 per cent), closing at 9,668.25.

Infosys denies promoters selling stake in company
Infosys Ltd denied a media report on Friday that the founders of India's second-biggest software services exporter were looking to sell their entire 12.75 per cent stake in the company. Infosys shares tanked by as much as 3.5 per cent in early trade on Friday.
