Open to idea of free internet, says Trai chief
TRAI chief RS Sharma has said he is open to the idea of internet content being provided free of cost or at discounted rates. Sharma said the proposal, which is at a consultation stage, does not violate net neutrality and is not in variance with TRAI's February order prohibiting differential tariffs, since the data access has to be open to subscribers of all mobile operators.

SBI Q4 net profit falls 66% to Rs 1,264 crore
Country's largest lender SBI on Friday posted 66 per cent slump in standalone profit to Rs 1,263.81 crore for the 4th quarter of last fiscal ended March 31 as it more than doubled the provisions for bad loans. SBI had reported net profit of Rs 3,742 crore in the corresponding, January-March quarter.
