[wanabidii] English Pronunciation

This is a supplementary issue this week. Nothing serious though; just a mop-up operation. I heard this on Kenyan TV, KTN. I was very impressed except for 2 words. Please bear with me; I'm just being petty. The reporter was fairly impressive on balance.

AGO

She said:   A-G-O-O

The correct way is: E-G-O-O

EVICT (kumtimua mtu)

She said: I-V-I-K-T

The correct way is: E-V-I-K-T

Now I feel better.
