Gen,
I really do appreciate your comments.
And you shall have noticed that there are some charlatans and one old ugly lady who find enough orgasm reacting to things that I post without even reading the same.
We also have some tired idle plumber in Canada feeling enough satisfaction with what I write.
I am happy I make their days.

I knew it was tended to fail! I sensed sabotage. Dr Kidero has been reacting and not strategically proactive. Sample this: 1. On taking office, he said he root out corruption. Action - he fired officers here and there and yet no report has come forth until today. Its often said a naive manage is the one who upon taking office fires the longest and performing employee. 2. On the issue of Parking withing the city - Dr Kidero promised to sort out the mess in 90 days. Already 60 days are over since he made the promise. But one wonders, does it need 90 days to sort the parking issues within the city? We all know the issues with out City transport system and how bad its. But Nairobi were looking beyond merely having a place to but efficient, well managed transport system where City Askaris dont harrass motorist and pedestrians. If give a chance, i can sort out the mess in a month! 3. On the recent clean-up, it was too reactive. I am sure you remember he refused to lope you in due to negative publicity received after arguably that some issues remained pending. I was told from the Governor's office that KCDN was earmarked for some seriously funding but some hot heads worked day and night to ensure you dont chew this money! Dr Kidero could have consulted you but he thought with the President around things will go well. He failed 4. As i said earlier in my previous reaction, clean up campaigns are well sustained where there is goodwill from all sectors - government, public and private sector. Its not a channel of unaccounted corruption. And in a place like Nairobi, you do not need to spend a lot of funds for a one time clean up, disappear behind the scene leaving people to keep shitting around. The campaign must be well coordinated through provision of resources, extend to recycling of the same. We are not yet there. Nairobi will still remain smelly, i wonder why they went to Huruma instead of even doing the roten shit at Randhies Market. 5. Lastly, i don't expect the president to meddle of the affairs of hawkers. That is not the reason why some people voted for him. Uhuru will fail miserably with his approach of things. Hawkers need to be kicked out of the city and its the CCN responsibilities under Dr Kidero.
Regards
Kombo Elijah

Dear Friends, I want to start by appreciating the many residents of Huruma who turned up on Saturday the 29th June 2013 expecting to join with His Excellency the President for a Clean-up Campaign and left disappointed. We were equally disappointed at The Clean Kenya Campaign-TCKC. From the outset, The Governor and his Team at the Department of Environment ignored us and we did not mind. We knew that Clean-ups were never the only domain for us and as such, we were willing to sit out and just join in like all the rest of the participants. We only joined the last planning session when NEMA invited us to their meeting with the Exhibitors. No officer from the Nairobi City County attended that meeting at NEMA Headquarters. Then the anti-climax; the President ordered the hawkers back to the streets! Was he well briefed on the question of Waste and Waste Management? He said nothing on this, yet, this was the real thing.
Odhiambo T Oketch addressing a Peace Campaign in Dagoreti in February 2013. It is a known fact that we have hosted several very successful Clean-up Campaigns across the whole Country. Our organizational acumen and professional engagement speaks for it self. We were hence taken aback when some Journeyman from Kisumu, posted on social media that I do not belong to, that he had authority and instructions from the office of the Governor of Nairobi to disassociate The Clean Kenya Campaign-TCKC from what the Governor and his Team were going to do at Huruma. We took it in our stride, because, we had not indicated in any space that we were co-hosting the event. The truth is now beginning to emerge and we are happy that we were not part of that mess. We want to invite our investigative Journalists to dig into this circus where our President was taken. We would want to know the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I have said this before; shifting of waste from one place to another can NEVER be Waste Management. And boasting of a Phd without tangible results on the ground is a sham. Nairobi remains the dirtiest City in the Sun and it is a shame that officers detailed to keep our City Clean are more concerned with contracts for printing T-shirts, caps and procuring useless Cleaning Materials. We have hosted several successful Clean-up Events across Kenya and we are happy that not a single Council has given us a penny for our efforts. And we have also NEVER asked for a single penny from any Council. Our efforts have been paid for by Friends of KCDN and TCKC and we salute all of them for this. Let the world be told what exactly happened at Huruma and let all those who exposed our President to such poor organization and execution of such a noble Campaign be shown the door.
