Hindustan Unilever Q1 net profit up 9% at Rs 1,283 crore
The company had posted a standalone net profit of Rs 1,174 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal. Net sales during the quarter under review stood at Rs 9,094 crore as against Rs 8,662 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago, showing a rise of 4.98 per cent.

Markets' bullish run snaps, Sensex cracks almost 400 points
The stock markets saw a major setback as the key indices- Sensex and Nifty saw major losses. The 30-share BSE Sensex crashed 363.79 points to settle at 31,710.99 while the broader 50-share NSE Nifty lost 88.80 points to close at 9,827.15.
