Nafikiri ilikuwa ni hotuba yenye muktadha wa kuelezea historia kutokana na shughuli ya siku husika. Hata mtoa hotuba alitanabaisha hivyo kama alivyoelezea siku ya kumbukumbu ya uhuru wa Tanganyika. Kwa ufahamu wangu hadithi ni maelezo ya kweli ama ya kutunga ambayo hutolewa mambo yaliyopita ama yalivyokuwa nyakati fulani. Maelezo haya hutolewa kwa mtu mmoja ama kundi. Hotuba kwa upande mwingine mi maelezo ambayo hutolewa kwa kadamnasi ama hadhara fulani bila kujali nyakati kutokana na kwamba yanaweza kugusia mambo yaliyopita, yaliyopo ama yajayo.
