India's potato output to hit 47 million tonnes
India's potato production is estimated to be around 47 million tonnes this year, just behind the all-time high witnessed in 2014. The output stood at 43.4 million tonnes in 2015-16 crop year (July-June), while last record was 48 million tonnes achieved in 2014-15.

LG plans to make India export hub
Tension prevailing between South Korea and China is being seen as a reason for the company to look at making India an export hub. Its overseas shipments from China are declining. Currently, the company exports products from India to the Middle East and African countries.

Note ban shrinks securitisation in MFI by 79% in H2 of FY17
