On this early December Friday 5th , as the light in the sky dims and we draw closer to festive seasons, we at the NORTH RIFT HUMAN RIGHTS NETWORK jointly with our partners mourn the loss of Nelson Mandela, one of the brightest lights in human rights defenders in history.
Nelson Mandela was a modern-day prophet for human dignity and human rights whose voice was heard around the world. He inspired billions of people across the world, with his message of equality for all.
As Human rights defenders of our time we wish continue with his footsteps to continue the good and worthy cause he has left in this world.
We will always remember Mandela and all that he did.
May his memory be a blessing. His life has inspired many in the world.
