I wonder, whether we can say with certainty that our state house is or it has ever been 'holy'? Because the politics being practiced, it has never been holy and never will it be! Yes, the late Julius Kambarage Nyerere once said, the state house is holy, but this was one of his unequivocally political rhetoric. And in really life, politics as such is not holy, and I even doubt whether there has been a really politician who is a 'saint.' Actually, comparing political paradigm and the paradigm of holiness is like comparing darkness and light. So, there is no such a thing like 'holy politics' in real life, although the architects of politics, Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, presumed politics to be holy because in their understanding they thought and believed that knowing the good will ultimately lead people into doing what is good and so a good leader will lead people into doing good. But on the contrary, the human subject is vested and succumbed to the moral vices or dilemmas that makes the human subject to err, which again deters him/her from attaining perfection and ultimately, goodness!
However, nomination of Migoro, could be a move to put her in the right track to vie for presidency in the forthcoming elections! Who knows?
