[wanabidii] This is Sad yet Funny

Reading this story, for a second I laughed but then I realized that someone died and sadness set in. Some of these stories are so weird that no scriptwriter can think them up; you just see them when they happen.

SAD: Worshipper DIES after the bible was put on his head by a pastor in Kericho

The Kenyan DAILY POST 15:45

Sunday 27th October 2013 - A prayer session at a church in Kericho turned chaotic today morning after an angry congregation turned at the pastor beating him up for killing a believer.

The believer had approached the church pulpit to receive prayers at the Neno na Roho Church when he collapsed and died as soon as the bible was put on his head. According to the congregation, the church was going on well with the powerful sermons from the pastor but things took a different turn when it reached prayer time.

The pastor requested that all those who needed prayers to climb to the pulpit. The congregation gathered ready for prayers. The pastor placed the bible on the head of one believer when he suddenly collapsed and died. Efforts to revive him bore no fruits and the pastor feeling scared tried to escape.

The angry believers caught him and started raining blows on him for killing one of the flock. They alleged that the pastor was using Satan's power to cast out evil spirits and that he was the cause of the man's death. They hit him hard before tearing his bible and setting it ablaze.
