Government considering auto makers concern on hike in GST cess
Luxury vehicle manufacturers have hit out at the move to hike cess on large cars and sports utility vehicles (SUVs) to 25 per cent, saying it was against the spirit of liberal market dynamics and would affect future plans of expansion under Make in India initiative.

Markets trade rangebound, finish flat
30-share BSE Sensex gained a meagre 0.77 points to finish on 31,662.74 and broader 50-share NSE Nifty closed on 9,929,90, up by 13.70 points. Sensex had opened with a gain of 77 points and had extended it to 153 points to hit the intra-day high of 31,814.96 in morning session.
