Markets rally as Sensex closes on record high, Nifty nears 9,700-mark
In intra day trade, Nifty and Sensex breached the 9,700 and 31,450-marks respectively, before falling off the day highs. This was an impressive showing after a sedate session on Wednesday which spilled on to Thursday's early trade.
